Frequently Asked Questions

Can I order a CD or hard copy of the O*NET Database?

The O*NET Database of occupational information is continually being updated and is available as a download in the Developer's Corner. The database is a series of flat text files that can be easily converted by developers and skilled database users to any database format. A Zip utility program is required to open the file. (Several versions are available for free on the Web.) MS Access, SAS/PC, and MS Visual FoxPro versions of the O*NET Database are available through the National Crosswalk Service Center external site. The O*NET Database is also available as an interactive web application at O*NET OnLine.
